ABOUT THE ARTIST

Renuka Sanjeev is a Dubai-based contemporary artist of international acclaim, known for her exceptional talent. She holds a Master's in Science and a B.ed in maths and pursued a career in mathematics. Despite her professional pursuit, Renuka's passion for the arts has always remained steadfast. Since her childhood, she has been captivated by the world of art, and eventually, she discovered her calling in painting. Renuka specializes in acrylic, oil, and mixed media, and her art is characterized by intricate layering of colors and textures, which adds depth and dimension to her creations.

Renuka has a particular affinity for traditional paintings that explore themes of nature, identity, and the human experience, as opposed to contemporary styles. She believes that traditional painting can establish a visceral and emotional connection with the audience, which is why it holds a special place in her heart. Renuka is grateful for the opportunity to showcase her work at the Indian Consulate in Dubai and has been fortunate to exhibit in renowned art galleries over the years. Being selected to display her artwork is a great honor for her, and participating in exhibitions remains a vital part of her artistic journey.
